For the tail I made a carpeted saw-horse and use bags of shot and a couple of old batteries (on top of the shot bags) to weigh down the tail when jacking. An interesting note: A friend, for use with his L-320, was using small hydraulic jacks welded on top of jack-stand. He failed to put enough weight on the tail. While walking around the plane he stumbled and caught himself on the cowl. The lightly balanced plane drooped forward, slipped off the jack pads and punched holes in the bottom of his plane. I like my method the best of any I've heard so far... Pete Cavitt - N320PL
