In reference to jack stands,  You can look in your Granger catalog and find
Hyd Rams and pick the height you want and then weld a stand on to them
(like a car stand you can get at any auto store or make your own) and the
you can jack the plane up to any height you want to.  I t works very well
and is not that expensive and will work for a long time on your plane or
your friends.  You can look at the picture in the Lancair Catalog ancopy
their design
