I feel that the 100 K limit on passenger medical coverage is wholly
inadequate.

My wife had a heart attack recently, and the bill was 30K for two days in the
hospital.

My friend spent  an extended period of time in the hospital after a car
accident, and it was over a million dollars at an average of $5750/day.

Can you imagine the cost of a month or two in the burn unit?

The bigger question then becomes, what amount does your policy provide for
when your passenger sues you after leaving the hospital?

The answer might be to have an umbrella policy--but when you look for one
that will cover airplanes, you will find none.

In any event, the 100K limit is totally inadequate, and if you feel protected
by that amount, you should rethink your situation.
