Humm, Just last week, Carsten told me that the 3 BID was not required
if you have the C-channel aft spar. He also said that the 2 BID is
required on the inboard elevator ribs where the actuator arm attaches.

My hinges were already installed and torque sealed as well, but I have
not checked the travel as yet. I will post my findings when I get
there.
I did, however have problems with the alignment of the actuator arm on
the elevator inboard ribs. The thing did not line up with the ribs. I
have sent an e-mail with photos to Carsten. I expect an answer on
Monday. You can see photos of the problem at:
