Damn Pete,  now you've made me nervous. I had my engine mount powder coated.
Powder coating gives it a super look and is very tough as far as resistance
to scratching etc.  So far it hasn't bent, stretched, cracked or broken with
about 35 hours use. I too would be interested in hearing from anyone with
expertise in this area.
