ZEHRBACH/LPE now has water cooled versions of the Lycoming 360 and 540
engines that can be used in the Legacy and the Lancair 360 up and flying and
available.  The engines are slightly lighter than the aircooled versions and
fit right in the stock mounts.

Customers can purchase the parts to convert the Lycoming themselves or
purchase the complete engine.  Options include  Electronic Fuel Injection
and Ignition, water cooled turbochargers, and ceramic engine components.
Power is available through 375 hp.

Three of the new water cooled opposed engines have been built with another in
process for delivery after its display at Oshkosh.

One of the engines will be in Dick Rutan's aircraft that we intend to have on
display in our booth 436 at Oshkosh.  We will also have a Piper and a Beirkut
with the water cooled engines on display along with a stand alone display 540
(as for the Legacy) fitted with EFI and turbos.

We will be giving demonstration rides in the Piper at least.  All three of
the water cooled aircraft will be doing fly bys.

These new engines utilize completely new water cooled barrel and head
assemblies and a water pump assembly that is driven from the engine accessory
casing.

For parties interested in looking at the engines and aircraft - There will be
a minimum of 9 ZEHRBACH/LPE powered aircraft on hand at Oshkosh with 15
expected (according to customers) for inspection utilizing various
combinations of the water cooling, electronic fuel injection and ignition,
Lancair LIV Continental engine mods, and ceramics.  Three customer aircraft
are scheduled to be in the Kitty Hawk to Oshkosh race.

There will be other aircraft with our engines on display in several airframe
manufacturers booths scattered around Oshkosh.  A ZEHRBACH modified
Continental will be on display at ULMAN AIRCRAFT, a ZEHRBACH modified 360
Lycoming will be on display at TEAM TANGO, and a water cooled 540 Lycoming
will be on display at the BEIRKUT booth.
