[This is not the first post of this nature to show up, others with a 
similar tone have come to me privately.  I didn't want to be too heavy-
handed with the recent posts regarding the great race challenge, but
as you can see, exchanges of that type are not necessarily welcomed by
everyone here.  As a reminder to all I'm including here a small segment
of the List Posting Guidelines which, hopefully, should outline the 
official LML policy regarding the postings that Ian is referring to:

"Feel free to disagree with other viewpoints, BUT keep your tone polite
and respectful. Don't make snide comments, personally attack other
listers, or try to take moral high ground on an obviously controversial
