Dale,
Real aircraft turbine engines driving propellers have the dang geared out of
them. If that ain't a PSRU (redrive), I'll kiss your foot. Not all
legitimate piston aircraft engines are direct drive either, so I don't think
that it's a qualification at all. So there.
