The answer is "yes", Paul

    However, you need to make certain that the sensor is a match for your
gauge else it could cause a misrepresentation of temperature.  Normally, the
best bet is to try the manufacture/distributor of the temperature gauge -
frequently they have a number of different plug/screw sizes with a common
sensor element

    What make temp gauge do you use for your oil??
