With oil leak. Ed, thanks, that's good input. However, remember that the pressure drop will depend on the flow rate. After taking your lead, I looked at Corky's book and read his discussion. He recommends a .055-.065 restriction. That is quite small. I decided to try a 5/32 hole today with no improvement in leak. Then I just poured some oil in the top of the turbo and got a leak, so it is going back to the "re-builder" and my first flight is delayed another few weeks. At least it was fun to get the tail up on the runway. :) Dave Leonard ____________________________________ Dave, a calculator I found on the Web indicated that with oil going from a 3/8" dia (AN-6) through a 1/8" orifice would reduce the pressure by approx 40 psi. So if your engine is putting out 70-80 psi that would bring it down to the 30-40psi range which should be acceptable.
