Lets concentrate the Voodoo on Dave. :)

I can't blow the hoses off during runups. It's only on climb out that they
blow. :(
I have the big assed hose technique clamps too. This one just slid off the
hose.
Ribs might be a good idea, and 3 inch hoses.

It's not a big pucker factor when it happens. The plane still climbs (a
little) so its just "time to go home".
