Rusty, were'd you come up
with this theory? True, It takes the same amount of fuel
to make X horsepower regardless of rpm. The injector doesn't
fire as often at low rpm BUT, it stays open for a longer time (assuming the
engine is making the same power). It all comes out the same in terms of
flow rate requirement of the injector.

Apparently, I drank away some important
brain cells in my youth, and the ones that survived don't seem to retain
information very long
:-)
Seriously, I just focused on each intake cycle,
and neglected to realize that there are more of these cycles at higher
rpm. Duh! For the record, I now believe that I don't need these 50
lb/hr injectors, and I'm actually planning to replace them with 38 lb injectors
as soon as Summit gets them in stock.
Cheers,
Rusty (prop is "out for
delivery")
