Tracy (just landed from first flight with Laura aboard with the
RD-1C drive. She liked it a lot!)
Well, that settles it then. I was interested
when you reported clawing your way into the air and over the
fence in your first max performance take off. I was tempted when I
witnessed that take off on the way to S & F, your 216 MPH race speed
was exciting. I was impressed by your 1600 fpm climb all the
way to 10,000 ft. BUT, if Laura liked it a LOT then that settles it,
I want one NOW! But, I guess I can wait until MY new monster 76/88
prop is near completion.
Appreciate your performance reports, have to keep
wiping my chin.

Laura described the climb as "like being on the
space shuttle!".
Just got the official race results from Sun 100
race. They had an error in their original speed
calculations and they sent the corrected results. Didn't change
the order of finising of course but my speed was actually 217.54 mph
instead of 216.1.
Tracy (hey, every mile & a half per hour
counts you
know!)
