Scott,
I mounted mine with 2 threaded rods and aluminum spacers. There are two
holes in the frame of the coils. I just cut some aluminum tubing to use as
spacers, and stacked the coils on these two rods. I them mounted the whole
assembly with a couple of end plates which mount to the underside of the
intake plenum.
I've attached a photo. You can see the coils to the left of the overflow
tank and just below the intake plenum.

Subject: [FlyRotary] How to attach LS1 Coils
Good Morning...
I have my LS1 coils in hand, now I want to mount
them...Sounds simple enough but, sitting down last
night to work on a mounting tray I noticed there
really are not any obivous( at least to me ) mounting
flanges or otherwise.
How have others attached their coils to the mounts,
trays, etc?
Thanx...
-Scott
