The engine I just took
out and tore down had what appeared to be the remains of ceramic coating on the
rotors. About 1/3 of it is gone after just 2 hours of low and medium power
running. I will take some pictures next time I am at the Hangar. For
what its worth...

Bruce will build a 0 time Renesis with porting, polish, & a bit of
extra weight reduction for about $5700.00. You can also order some
custom touches (color scheme of your choice, ceramic coated rotors,
etc.) I went for the ceramic coating to see if all the hype is true or
BS.

I was wondering if
Tracy or someone could give a hint of what someone would have to give Bruce
Turrentine for a Renesis engine conversion for aircraft service. As
was noted earlier, E-bay has a Renesis engine on bid, currently at a little
over $4k. My impression is that this is a little steep, but I am not
sure where I got that impression from.

I am a ways from
needing an engine, but would like to know what I am getting
into.
Thanks,
