Welcome Thom,

You're actually one of the lucky ones, who = didn't have to=20 go to counseling to try to forget the horrific image of = BUC.  The=20 first iteration of my RV-3 cowl got way out of control.  I = bought a=20 radiator that was way too big, added a turbo I had no room for, and = used an=20 off-the-shelf intake that was far taller than the top of the = cowl.  I=20 wasted a full 2 week vacation modifying a stock cowl to fit around all = this=20 mess, and the results were disturbing to say the least.  I started=20 referring to the resulting offense as the Big Ugly Cowl, or BUC, and it = got=20 adopted as a name.  I considered that rev-1, with rev-2 being the = current=20 setup (stock, bump free cowl).  The recent rev-3 messages refer to = the next=20 iteration, where I install a -C drive and larger=20 prop.

BTW, BUC is long gone, and I even made the = local EAA=20 webmaster remove the pictures.  BUC is best forgotten, which = is of=20 course why John is teasing me about the tee shirts=20 :-)

Cheers,
Rusty=20 (John better hold those tee shirts until he see the tracking number = for his=20 turbo)
