When I do finally fly, I'll stay within gliding distance of the airport for awhile, though with a problem like that, cutting the engine off, and gliding in, isn't very high on my list of things to do. Not to mention having to fumigate the plane afterwards. I always say that ANYTHING! that wants to break while I am on the ground is just fine with me and fortunately (thus far) they have seen fit to do just that. Sure reduces the pucker factor.
