Attached, is a series of e mails I exchanged with Bob Mack of the EAA staff, who appears to have a good understanding of the Insurance problem.  While he does not at this time offer any pancreatic solution, he does offer some suggestions and does indicate it is not impossible to find insurance.

Nice correspondence Ed.  What do you think it would take to move this along further?  What if we put together a list of folks that are flying, with the number of safe hours.  A list of the many, many builders who are nearing completion would demonstrate the potential customer base that an insurance company could expect.  Mind you, I'm not volunteering to put together this list :-)
