As far as the engine, it really didn't add too much to the work hours, but did add allot of research hours, which I don't track. As far as fiberglass skills, I had none when I started. It is really pretty easy once you get started, and the plans start out with simple tasks in the beginning, so you develop your skills as you go. I think that I could make almost anything with fiberglass now. I checked my log, and I have 219 hours on the engine installation. There are allot more "off-the shelf" items available that weren't there just a few years ago.
