You can buy gasoline also, but you must pay the tax when purchased & file for a rebate of the tax from the tax commission. I suppose it's done that way to make it a little less convenient to cheat. There's bound to be a program for tax-free gas in any state with agricultural activity because there are too many gas burning tractors out there that spent the 1st part of their lives on farms.
