I have a warning level switch when there is about 2 1/2 quarts left. Maybe this is adequate - I haven't decided yet.<<< Al, I have found in my 250 hours of running the 13 B (170 hours flying) that the 13B simply does not appear to use any crankcase oil (provided of course, the oil injection pump is removed). Now part of that may be the skimming effect of the oil seals and dumping some of the 2 cycle oil in the gasoline into the crankcase sump. But I flew my first 60 hours or so with a total of 2 1/2 quarts of oil. That was all I could put in with my Plugs Up installation with the original oil pan I had. Later oil pan now holds a more comfortable 4 1/2 quarts. Ed Anderson
