Rusty why not just 'tee' into the gas line from the tank? If you get the tee
close enought to the tank it shouldn't be to bad, it won't be gas pump fast
but... should work shouldn't it?

I'm not sure exactly what's in my filler pipe, but I'm sure I can't get a
hose of any reasonable size in there to transfer fuel.  I guess I'll have to
go back to the idea of having a separate tank I can put in the bed as
needed.
