Might be OK but it would have to be the high pitch version of the IVO. I estimated there was a 21" diameter of stalled airflow on my IVO. You might try making cuffs for that area. That's what I'm doing now on my Performance Prop even though it was much better at the root than the IVO.

I landed just long enough to ship your RD-1C today Kelly. (really!) Just be sure you Do the right thing and mount a long prop on it. And to answer the most frequently asked question on the phone today, no, I don't think more blades will make up for less length.
