I was worried about it at one time, because in this area of Oregon they put ethanol in the gas between Nov. and Feb. I was assured by Gary Hunter that 10% ethanol would cause no harm. I have noticed no negative effects after 5 years. No leaks yet. My tanks are made from SafetyPoxy (now EZ Poxy), seems to be some of the most fuel-resistant stuff out there.

Why would I be worried about a

little alcohol anyway?

Cheers,
Rusty (still in search of a pump)

Isn't it just the Lycoming guys who are afraid of the alcohol because it
attacks some of the material they use for seals?
