Doug,

It would appear from your pic, he filed the 5th mark and painted over it. The PDF shows the marks @ 10 degree increments.

These were standard pulleys on the 13B’s back then,  with the standard markings per Racing Beat.

If it’s of any help, here is the PDF for the pulley timing marks.

Doug, I don't know where your pulley came from but I wouldn't worry too much about it either.  Set your engine to TDC according to procedure provided by Lynn Hannover.
Something like this:  Make and attach a timing marker that lines up with the starter ring gear; mark the corresponding tooth on the ring gear, count the number of teeth and divide by 360 to determine teeth per degree; count in correct direction on ring gear number of teeth to represent 25 degrees BTDC - mark that tooth with a different color. Set your engine to 25 BTDC then go to your crank angle sensor and align the first pickup sensor with the crank pointer ... Tracy's Manual gives a similar set of instructions.
Good Luck ... Jeff

P.S. I can see these emails through my subscription to The List and can reply but I cannot get into the lancaironline.net website ... is anyone having the same problem ?

1) Double row pulley Question
    by "DOUGLAS LOMHEIM dlomheim@aol.com" <flyrotary@lancaironline.net>

Going thru my EC2 installation manual, and attempting to set the timing and the aftermarket pulley I inherited with my engine (from Tommy James), and it has five tick marks.  Thot this had to come from Mazda Trix or Racing Beat, but their pulleys only have four degree tick marks!  Has anyone used this pulley, and do know what the degree marks represent?  Thx.    Doug
