John,
Forgot to mention - I get 13.5 V at the buss.  Took my handheld voltmeter and connected it to the Alt relay and discovered I have 14.5 there.  I have heavier wire on order to met demand up forward without line losses.  I've got a 10' or 12' run of 10 and/or 12 ga wire and am replacing it with 8 ga.  I'll let you know how that comes out.
What size wire do you have from batt to buss' ? ...Jim S.

2. The picture on the schematic seems backwards to the actual alternator, and there are no markings on the connector. Is there a way to test which terminal is the sensor (direct to battery) and which is the idiot light?

John Slade (coming down to the wire) John, The picture on the photo from the manual is correct.  There's no doubt about it.  As for voltage, attached is a photo from one of my early runs. Cheers,Rusty (good voltage is not an option)
