Thanks for your reply Finn!
I finally found my original notes on my proposed installation, and since I’m using a water / oil inter-cooler on the firewall, I had decided to pull water from that location to feed the inter-cooler (via a 1/2 inch hose). I believe I got that idea came from Mark Steitle who had successfully done it to feed the intercooler intercooler on his 20B, but it also seems like it would be a good location to pull water temp from as well...

That's where I mounted my water temp sensor.
The little tube on the end housing next to the PSRU should go to the swirl pot to get air out of the engine. Make sure you have a 3/32" or so restriction in that line.

Greetings Rotary Group! After not working on my project since about 2008, I have finally retired now and am slowly getting back to working on my my RV9A project with Tommy James’s 13B which flew for 90 hrs. or so in about 2005-6. As I look at the engine now, I noticed that I drilled out and installed a fitting on top of the water pump housing. I’m pretty sure I added this based on circulating “best practices” at that time, but I now can’t remember what it should be connected to…maybe the bottom of a swirl pot?
Thanks!
Doug
