I haven't had success in posting to the Rotary group and saw your name often, so I thought I'd give you a try.

Is anyone out there capable of making a program change to my EC3? I could mail in a chip. I am getting serious kickback, on engine start, on my O-200.  I would like to retard the spark to 0 degrees advance until the engine reaches 250 RPM

Hi Sam,

I'm not sure I'm qualified to make such a change.  I might be able to compile and program a chip, but have no experience with anything except the Mazda Renesis.

I guess I could take a look at the source code sections of the non-rotary program ... but not too hopeful.

I will post this to the list just in case someone else might be able to.
