Guys,
I'm getting really frustrated with my (stock 3rd gen) alternator. I'm seeing
13.2v on the buss when the engine is running, but the charge light is still
on (even with the diode).
Answers to two questions might help me debug it:
1. What voltage should I see on the buss with the engine running?
2. The picture on the schematic seems backwards to the actual alternator,
and there are no markings on the connector. Is there a way to test which
terminal is the sensor (direct to battery) and which is the idiot light?
Note: The alternator tested fine a few weeks back, but I guess I could have
fried the internal regulator since.
