Did get it up to bring it home today. Just a 15 minute flight. Nice = smooth day temps a bit above 0C. However on base for short final on the = lake at about 500 feet, the engine quit. First time I've ever seen a = stationary prop while flying. I was set up for a power off approach = anyway so the landing was uneventful. Engine started fine after landing = so I suspect carb ice cause I didn't put carb heat on. My wife got this picture after I rolled to a stop in front of the house. Next project is to change the muffler set up. This machine is REALLY = noisy.
