Rusty, I think you could take any 12V electric fuel pump, connect it to some leads long enough to reach the car battery, and some clear polyurethane hose from home depot, don’t forget to ground everything, and you are in business.

 

Thanks.  I've seen the gas caddys at West Marine I think.  I would actually prefer a 120 V pump if possible, since it would only be used at the hanger.  The rules allow storage of the pump, just not more than 5 gallons of fuel.  I have 6, 5 gallon gas cans at the hanger, but they're empty.  I keep expecting the hanger police to mention those in their inspection report, but they haven't yet.  Fortunately, they only inspect twice a year, and give you about a month warning of the date they will be doing it.  It's not too hard to make sure all the offending items are gone when they stop by.  Unfortunately, the "enforcement vehicle" does patrol the place, and will write you up if they see something through your open door.
