Today at a bit above freezing = it would only give me about ten seconds of cranking total spread over = several minutes. Sure it has been two months since I flew last but this = is why I paid more than double the cost of a standard lead acid. The = specs say long shelf life and NO loss of output due to low temp is what = I should get. I've had much better shelf life and cold cranking on my = 180 Lycoming with small size auto batteries that I've used in the winter = over the past 20 years.=20 The 13B did fire up once but without fuel injection cold starting isn't = as trouble free. Now that we have relocated to waterfront I now have a huge airstrip out = front and can't wait to get the Deuce flying again.
