I like and use MGL equipment as it is good and customisable. But the local dealer could be better. Manufacturer at http://www.mglavionics.co.za/contact.html let them know of your experience,  other dealers will ship international but Aus dealer prices fair if you just get what you need.

Interesting!  I dealt with the Oz rep and was not impressed at all.  No real knowledge when it came to the finer points.  Do they have the manual on the web site?  Neil.

Thats the trouble when dimwits don't know the equipment they're selling, you get told you need something you actually dont.
That FF-4 unit definately works coupled to the injectors. Should only cost $388 inc gst and postage as thats what it is listed as. Listed on manufacturers website for R2377.00 which converts to AUD229.00, so dealer has a fair margin.

Thanks Andrew, but the sly sods want 2 flow meters as well for the low price of  $1200 All up plus fittings, say $1500.  Neil.

likely to be other makes available also,

Mgl say they are now open source, so completely configurable if your so inclined. or just use as is. worked for me.

Neil, lots of options out there, both Tracy's & Ed's engine monitors will do what you want. MGL Vega single FF-4 would be a good option also.

Gents,  Is anyone aware of a fuel consumption  gauge that will give fuel consumption in real time?  I can get one that has two flow meters but that makes installation complicated and not really cost effective.  I am looking for something that works off the injectors.  As usual it has to be "tweaked" with actual fuel usage.  Did not Tracy have such a system?  Neil.
