Max did not indicate whether he found hangar space or not – certainly would expect it to be limited if available at all AND expensive.
 
I hope to hear more from Max when he gets home and gets some of the tension of the trip over with.

Well it's disappointing that Max wasn't successful at this time but I'm sure that no one feels that sting as much as him. But sometimes it takes as much courage to not go on as to push on through. I'm certain that resources for maintaining his plane in Narsarsuaq will be somewhat limited and I can imagine that commercial flights from there are not cheap, so surely this was not a decision that he took lightly.
  Ed, do you know if he was able to secure hangar space there to leave his plane in case he his not able to continue till spring?
