Bob Tilley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charlie England" To: "Rotary motors in aircraft" Sent: Monday, October 5, 2015 6:24:47 PM Subject: [FlyRotary] Slobovia Outernational Pumpkin Drop 2015: May the Farce Fly With You Y'all come! Since Tupper & I were unable to host a rotary gathering in September, we're hoping to have a 'mini' rotary gathering to coincide with Slobovia's annual Pumpkin Drop, the 1st weekend in November. If you've never attended in the past, search for 'slobovia pumpkin drop' on youtube; there are several videos from prior years. We'll have Cajun food for lunch on Saturday, followed by the pumpkin bombing competition in the afternoon. In order to get in some quality rotary time, you can plan on arriving as early as possible on Friday, & hang around all day Sunday, if possible. Departures can be any time on Monday, if you can hang around that long. If you plan on bringing your spouse, let me know & we will try to accommodate with a 'somewhat private' room for sleeping. Otherwise, just bring a bedroll & bathing necessities. We'll either be going to local restaurants or cooking here at the house for all the meals other than Saturday lunch. Hope to see y'all in November. Let's set a new record for flying rotaries in one place!
