Bud Warren and his = daughter were in a Wheeler which caught fire while airborne and the were = able to land and egress without serious injuries. Sometime later they = were flying in a South African =E2=80=9CRaven=E2=80=9D which looks like = a Piper Commanche, and they again had some sort of engine issue with = smoke in the cockpit (?); and they ultimately crashed and were killed. = Dr. Moss (I believe his name was) purchased Bud Warren=E2=80=99s = business and installed it in his Glasair III and he dropped in for a = visit at our Alternative get-together at Paducah some years ago, and he = was tragically killed in the crash of his Glasair a week or so later at = the Canard fly in.
