<650 HP. ????   Any details on the motor?

Same engine, psru, ecu as mine (he gave me my stuff). But engine has been built, dual turbos. Measured 650 hp on calibrated dyno, but he normally operates at a mere 450 hp. Subaru 3.0 liter.

New design redrive by company called RDM, from Redmond, Oregon. Been flying on a handful of aircraft for the last 4 years or so. Bunch of hours on dyno.  Spur gear with hydraulics for constant speed, mount for extra alternator. He has a number built, but so far refuses to sell until he’s built up a bunch of hours. 650 hp Lancair has the most hours so far.

Al switched to new RDM redrive. Even though I loved the Lou Ross unit.

Talk to Al Wick who is running a Ross redrive with a Subie engine.

Hello Patrick

We talked up at Oshkosh about the Ross aero Drive unit , and that I was looking for internal parts.

I have a EJ 22 Subaru engine with the Ross drive on it and I've got about 780 hours flying behind it with no problem so far. I've been searching online different chat rooms asking if anybody has rebuilt one and trying to find out information about the part and the part numbers.

I know Tracy with his Mazda engine combination said he had rebuilt a Ross Drive and made some improvements on some of the internal parts. We had talked on the phone a couple of times and you asked me to send you an email to see if you could find out information you might have.

I've been flying with this Ross Drive for 15 years now and I'm desperately seeking any information on internal parts from any source that I could find to rebuild my unit.

I've been hearing the flexible clutch plate attached to the flywheel is really important to replace but nobody seems to know what it is her part number.
Some people think it's from a Chevy inboard outboard boat some people think it's from the Ford transmission.

Patrick if there's anyway you can help find out any information for me I would really appreciate it thanks for your help
