Looks like another trip to the machine shop - or can you buy these = barbs from Mazda? I tried the Mazda dealer, and they said I would have to buy the = complete housing. I also tried Mazdatrix and 4 or 5 other suppliers. = They all told me the same. Mazdatrix removed a used one for me, and sold = it to me for 5 dollars plus shipping. Problem was that it was so = distorted from pulling it out of the housing, it was unuseable. Really = out of round. So, my machinist made one for me that fit like a glove. = He made it from a steel 5/8 heater hose nipple that had a 1/2"NPT on the = opposite end. (CarQuest) worked great, and less machining because one = end was already a 5/8 inch heater nipple with the raised rib on it. = Just had to turn the other end down for a 17mm press fit.
