I've done this many times with copper  ... not so easy with aluminum ... maybe have use aluminum brazing rod.

I once saw a simple way to add beading to a metal pipe on a car site once.  The guy cut a 3/16 in piece off the end of the pipe and used a tubing expander to increase the diameter just enough so it would slip over the pipe, and the then soldered it onto the pipe, and filed off any sharp spots, and "wa-law", a homemade bead to resist the dreaded pressurized rubber hose pull off...
