I rebu= ilt my engine at least 1 year ago; I squirted a few pumps from an oil can w= ith ATF, then turned the engine over by hand a few times - most of the oil = actually gets squeezed out through the exhaust. It sat all winter without b= eing rotated - turned it over to check all the apex seals a few days ago an= d all were still springing back as required. I would recommend doing the a= bsolute best job of draining out all the coolant. Also, plug the exhaust p= orts and all other openings with some type of breathable material - those b= lue paper shop rags for example.
