I'd like to add my thank-you's to Tupper, Charlie, Rose, and all the other pilots that shared their knowledge. Knowing what works and what doesn't ahead time is so much better. Hope to see you all next time!

We're just grateful for all you guys & ladies who came & made this such a fun weekend. It doesn't get much better than hanging out with aviation folks. We're just about ready to do another (after a couple of days to recover & reload...)

Charlie & Tupper.

That was fly-in fun at its finest.  And it sure was nice to escape Shady Bend which has been isolated from the rest of the world for weeks by the flood.

Thanks again for the first class hospitality Charlie & Tupper.

I just want to give a big Texas thank you for a memorable weekend of unsurpassed hospitality.  A wonderful weekend of aviation camaraderie was had by all. The weather was perfect.  Tupper, Rose, Charlie, all went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and had plenty to eat.  (There was no excuse for anyone leaving hungry.)  Hope everyone made it home safe and sound.

Sincerely,
Mark

P. S.  Sorry about digging up your grass during ground ops.  :-0

Hi Charlie, I just wanted to let you know that Diane and I would not be able to attend.  Life is just to busy at the moment.  You guys have fun and be safe.

Yeah, it looked pretty bad on radar yesterday. I was afraid y'all were getting hammered down there.
Hope to see you tomorrow, but be safe.

I had planned to launch this morning but yesterday it rained almost continuously for 11 hours.  First time we have had a local flood on top of the Suwannee river flooding.   Only had 500 usable feet of runway this morning, just not enough for MGWTO.  Planning on tomorrow AM takeoff if it dries enough today.  Hope to see you then.

Taxi as close as you can to the ramp next door, then swing in an arc between the hangars & stay close to the front of mine as you turn to park where you did last year, next to the tree line. The area directly in front of my hangar is the highest driest area, even next to the drainage path. The area next to the drainage path *between* our hangars is still soggy.
