Tracy, by improperly wired do you mean that you intended for the injectors
to be hot only when the EC2 has power? This would create quite a re-wire
at this stage. Although in retrospect I would have done it the way you
intended. My coils are wired the same way – drawing power directly
from the main buss. The biggest problem that I see however is that the
EC2 is now on whenever there is power to the main buss and turning off of the
engine will occur through fuel starvation.

Ed is right, the EC2 should not be turning the injectors
on when engine not running (even with the injectors improperly wired straight
to 12V). There have now been at least 2 builders who flew the plane with
this setup (not recommended) and one of them had even forgotten to wire
the normal power inputs to the EC2! (definitely not recommended).
