It appears that you can use just about any oil. Some just burns cleaner than others. Actually, it looks like Marvel Mystery Oil doesn't burn at all (some gets scavaged into the oil pan, some thrown out the exhaust). The first few hundred hours I ran pure MMO (1 oz/gal), then following in Tracy's footsteps, I'm now using a 50/50 mix of MMO and  two cycle oil (stil 1 oz/gal). Anything with the TC-W3 rating should be fine.

I'm getting ready to put some fuel into this 13b engine. Somewhere I saved
previous posts regarding how much oil to mix per gallon of fuel.
Unfortunately, that message is floating around in my computer
somewhere....doing a very good job of hiding. Looking for oil to fuel
ratio. I assume I can just use my 2 cycle oil that is designed for
air-cooled engines? (Same oil as I used in my Rotax powered gyrocopter).
Thanks in advance to all who respond. Paul Conner
