Yes, that was me.  No, I'm not using it presently.  I think the sensor failed, and I never bought a replacement.  It is called a UV Tron sensor.  If you google "UV Tron fire detection sensor" you will get lots of information on how to utilize this device.  There are companies that sell a pre-built circuit board with sensor.

1. Are you using this?
2. Can you give details on parts/circuits – a fellow builder at my airport would be very interested, since he has a pusher, and another builder had an engine fire that could have been a disaster.
