Super!  Anybody that can build an engine basically from aluminum ore should have no trouble closing up a couple of pesky holes!

Exhaust holes closed!

 

It turned out that these holes are accusable from below coming through the rotor housing aluminum. I just taped a 3/8x24 thread into it and closed it with a 3/8” long set screw. Did lot have to tough the steel insert.

That was a quick and dirty fix.

Thanks everyone for all the good response.

 

Hopefully no more oily belly on the airplane.
