The aluminum front housing has the oil out port. Left front as it sits in the car. Oil in for the stock system is the banjo fitting at the bottom of the rear iron. I assume that any oil cooler in use contains manufacturing swarf that will kill my engine, So my remote filter(s) are between the coolers and my bearings. Try to mount the filter housing in the upright position so as to limit the amount of air it can hide. Flow is always outside to inside. Use NAPA (Wix 350 pound burst cans) or K&N 500 pound burst cans. No Frams for anything.

Where does the remote oil filter go in the oil system for a 2nd gen engine?  The block off pad has one fitting and I thought most builders use it to feed the PSRU.  Does oil come out the rear oil port engine block or the front port?  What is the order filter, cooler, engine and back to the filter?  Does Tracy's PSRU require 2 return lines?
Thanks for any help
