As most here already know, I have a Harley-Davidson rotor mounted to my gearbox adapter plate and the stator bolted to the back of the gearbox. This setup is working better than it has any right to, giving me over 14 volts when I open her up.
The generator is surrounded by a blower. I was questioning earlier whether this was doing anything at all. I can confirm that my blower is driving the MAP above ambient above 4500RPM. The downside is that I'm picking up a lot of heat from the gearbox and engine. I'm getting intake temps north of 130. I'm considering some insulation options, but not really sure what I can do.
