Hi guys,

I've noticed a couple of you have had your computer sending spam emails to The List (William Mason, Ed Anderson, maybe others, don't remember) and suggest that you scan your systems for malware.  I'm sure you've picked up a trojan that hijacks your email program and sends its crap out to most of the people in your addressbook without your knowledge.  These sorts of infections are typically sefl-induced by clicking on something that you shouldn't be clicking on.  Please, everyone, if you frequent unknown sites on the web or have a propensity to click on links that show up in your email boxes, please scan your systems with multiple softwares... McAfee and Norton are both famous for missing these sorts of things. Just FYI, no reply needed or wanted, no sense clogging up the list with this.
