IIRC, he said (it's been repeated by the CAFE test guys in
California) that *with proper in-cowl exit air handling*, you can
actually make the exit slightly smaller than the inlet. (But not too
many have been able to achieve that.)

Analyzed the dimensions of my cowling, and
fount the exit openings being about 70% of the
inlet openings. Big mistake there. This will be
fixed before looking at other options.
