OK Doug, this if for you... The Lockhart airport (50R) has been shut down for the last few weeks for major repairs. They have repaired the taxiway and resealed all the asphalt surfaces. They just re-opened it yesterday, so I decided to go flying. The 20B ran great, but the air was really bumpy so I cut the flight short. Oh, forgot to mention, they haven't re-striped the runway, taxiways, or painted the numbers on the runway yet, so you have to know the airport well or you may get confused (wouldn't want to land on the taxiway). I did one of my best landings ever, as close to a squeaker as I'll ever see. It was probably due to the fact that I didn't have all those silly white lines and numbers to distract me. The airport will be closed again on the 18th. Guess I'll go flying again today... while I still can.
